I received the Taylor Cable 48020 kit after alot of research. I had no idea what kind of cable it would come with, as even there are descrepencies from the taylor website. But I am here to confirm that it does come with a 1 gauge cable and it is in fact, welder’s cable which is far superior to battery cable or speaker cable. This kit was simple and to the point. The only thing is that it is harder to conceal the wire running from your trunk to the engine because the cable is so thick and it makes a bulge pretty much anywhere in your carpet. But otherwise it’s a good kit
